Finally..

..it's the weekend again. There's something about this part of the week that's always been the same for as long as I can remember. I'm sampling 'Listen' by Michelle Tumes and it reminded me of way back when I used to live with 3 gentlemen named Reg, David and Isaac at CP Apts. (408!) and we'd be relaxing to this CD over a warm bowl of home-made fried rice and a ginger ale chaser. We don't have the luxury of getting together like this too often anymore, but it's still kind of the same for me - I just have different surroundings now. From the batchelor pad to a sleeping (beauty) wife and the pitter-patter of little kitty feet.

It's nice to see everything slowing down and coming to rest, the way it should be when Sabbath comes in, and it becomes hard to worry about the anything. It's pretty cool to just let go for a while, since we usually don't realize how tightly wound up we are during the rest of the week with all the stuff we have to worry about. Not really sure how people make it running full steam 24/7, but I'm thankful for my proverbial 'bowl of fried rice,' whatever form it may come in.
