2 Alarm Fire

At around 9:30 am Tuesday March 6 Jen received a call at work from her good friend Kelli who told her she was also at work herself at the local newspaper and happened to over hear some photographer's talking. They were saying that there was a big fire in an apartment complex on Lee Highway at somewhere named "Oakcrest." Kelli knew that we lived at the Villas at Oak Crest. When Kelli told Jen this information she immediately called the leasing office at the apartment complex and they confirmed that the fire was not in our building. When we got home that night we learned just how close the fire was, however, as you can see from the picture below. Thankfully no one was hurt in the fire and all pets were safely returned to their owners. You can read/watch more about the story here.
